Ian Whetter
Ian Whetter is a cis-gender, settler of Scottish and English descent who grew up in the suburbs of Dand, Manitoba and now resides in Winnipeg. He and his partner have three young kids. He works as a family doctor, medical teacher and administrator at the Northern Connection Medical Centre, the Northern Remote Family Medicine Stream and Ongomiizwin (pronounced: ON--GOM--IZ--IN) Health Services at the University of Manitoba. He is a former clinician at the Transgender Health Klinic at Klinic Community Health in Winnipeg and he is a member of the Manitoba Trans Health Coalition. He dreams of a world where people have equal access to the conditions for happiness.
