The purpose of this interactive workshop is to provide thoughtful strategies that promote mental and physical health for Third Age learners. Some unconventional approaches will be explored as learners become acquainted with Acceptance and Commitment strategies where the focus is on thriving and getting the most out of life.

Dr. Chris Brown is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education where he teaches educational psychology, counselling and inclusive education. As a practicing counsellor and educator, Chris is deeply invested in fostering mental health and wellness practices in teaching and counselling.
